Our story
Four Decades on Central Florida Wells
Steven started in the well and pump trade over 40 years ago. He worked alongside his father as a boy, and by the mid-1980s he was running Orange County Well & Pump, drilling wells and servicing pumps for families and farms throughout the region. Along the way, he pulled, diagnosed, and rebuilt just about every kind of pump that gets installed on a Florida well.
He founded Pump Repair Services in 1992, and when he decided to stop drilling new wells and concentrate entirely on repair and replacement, the name came to say exactly what the company does. Today, around 98 percent of the work is on submersible deep-well pumps set in the Floridan Aquifer, often 100 to 400 feet down, which is the setup most Central Florida homes on well water rely on.
That long focus is the reason a stuck pump or a rapid-cycling system rarely surprises us. We have seen how these pumps fail here, in this water, in this ground, and we bring that pattern recognition to every call. “Always Local, Always on Time” is not a slogan we bought; it is how we have run every call for over thirty years.
